Jim Price CAI-GRI is the owner of Price Realty and Auction Co. The company has been active in the real estate and auction business for over 25 years. They have conducted hundreds of auctions in addition to assisting other professional auctioneers around the country. The company also lists and sells real estate through the Louisville Board of Realtors.
VEHICLE AUCTIONS
Price Realty and Auction Co. has conducted the weekly auction for Kentuckiana Auto Storage Pool since 1983. They were the first in the Louisville area to implement the use of auctions to sell donated vehicles for local charities. The company sold millions of dollars worth of donated vehicles for the Volunteers of America over the 20 year period that they were contracted with them. Presently, they are contracted with the WHAS Crusade for Children and Goodwill Industries of Kentucky to advise and conduct their vehicle auctions.
HORSE AUCTIONS
Collectively, the members of the Price auction team represent years of experience in the horse industry. This experienced auction team have been involved in every facet of the horse industry. Team members represent years of expertise in breeding, training, showing, buying and selling of several breeds of horse. The depth of experience this auction team possesses translates into the professional knowledge exhibited at horse auctions across the United States.
Until the untimely dead of the founder Mr. Jimmy Miller the Price team has conducted the auction for Superior Horse Sales. This December sale was a favorite of American Saddlebred and Hackney pony buyers and sellers.
It was a thrill for the team to conduct the Spring Event Sale for Maine Event Morgans. At this sale, a world record was set for the average price per head for Morgan horses sold at auction!
The company annually conducts the auctioning of stallion breedings for the All American Cup which helps promote the American Saddlebred. Since its onset, millions of dollars in prize money for exhibitors has been raise.
The team for several years contracted to auction the Mid Atlantic Breeders Sale for Morgan horses at their annual auction that was held in Harrisburg Pa.
The Price team also annually donates their services to the US Saddle Seat World Cup Auction. The proceeds from this auction helps to finance the travel to foreign countries where American riders compete against other national teams. They also conduct the annual auction for the American Saddle Horse Association that is held annually during the World Championship Horse Show.
EDUCATION AND LICENSE
The company goal is to provide both buyers and sellers a pleasant auction experience. To better serve clients the staff actively participate in Educational Seminars sponsored by the Kentucky Auctioneers Association, National Associatoin of Realtors, Kentucky Association of Realtors, National Association of Auctioneers and Kentucky Real Estate Educational Institute. Price Realty and Auction Company is licensed in several states and is constantly working to keep on top of the lastest developments to better meet our clients needs.
